Victor Sungusia is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, and operations. He has been the Acting Director of Logistics and Operations at MSD since March 2023. His expertise is firmly rooted in healthcare supply chain management, where he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational acumen.

Sungusia joined MSD in March 2003 as a Sales Officer and quickly progressed through key positions, including Supply Planning Manager and Zonal Manager for Mwanza, Dodoma, and Dar es Salaam.

Before his tenure at MSD, Sungusia amassed extensive experience in sales and marketing. He worked at Coca-Cola Kwanza (CCK) from October 1997 to December 2002, holding various roles of increasing responsibility. Before that, he served at ScaAd (T) Ltd., an advertising agency based in Nairobi, Kenya, from January 1995 to September 1997.

Academically, Sungusia holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, both from the University of Dar es Salaam. He further enhanced his strategic capabilities by completing the Strategic Retail Development Program at the Graduate School of Business in Cape Town in 2000.
