Ms. Estella Eliona Meena is a Pharmaceutical Specialist with over 17 years of experience in the field. She holds a BSc in Pharmacy, an MSc in Pharmaceutical Management, and an MSc in Procurement and Supply Chain Management. She has trained under several global and regional professional bodies.

Ms. Meena is currently MSD's Acting Quality Assurance Manager. She has brought to our team vast experience in Pharmaceutical Quality Management, from years of working in Drug Inspection under the National Drug Regulatory Authority.

She has contributed to published work on the burden of counterfeit and substandard medicines in Tanzania. She was key in establishing a national health system to track them in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO).

Ms. Meena has also worked on and inspected several drug clinical trials. She has been leading the inspections of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in pharmaceutical plants in Africa, Europe, and Asia, primarily in Germany and India, where East African Countries procure most pharmaceutical commodities.
