Since 2009, Mr. Mboyi has provided leadership, operational oversight, and technical guidance to local government authorities, ministries, and public institutions. His expertise includes developing and implementing HR policies, managing payroll and compliance, overseeing training and performance management programs, and formulating strategic business plans to optimize human capital management. Through his extensive work, he has played a critical role in streamlining HR functions, enhancing workforce efficiency, and ensuring organizations meet their operational and strategic goals.
Currently, Mr. Mboyi is the Director of Human Resources and Management at the Medical Stores Department, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping HR strategy and workforce development. He has also held key leadership positions at Tanzania’s Higher Education Students’ Loans Board and the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology. His leadership extends beyond his executive roles, as he also serves as the Chairman of the African Human Resources Managers’ Network (APSHRMnet) – Tanzania Chapter, where he contributes to advancing HR practices across the region.
Mr. Mboyi is a Certified Director (CiDir), accredited by the Institute of Directors in Tanzania (IoDT). He holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Mzumbe University, earned in 2013.
