With over two decades of experience, Etty is highly skilled and expert in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Crisis Management, and Journalism, who has consistently delivered impactful results. She joined Medical Stores Department (MSD) in August 2012 as Head of Public Relations Unit. Before joining MSD, she worked as a Senior Journalist at Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC).

Etty holds a Master Degree of Arts in Mass Communication from the Open University of Tanzania and Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from the University of Dar es Salaam. She is also an alumnus of the Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication (IJMC) where she graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication.
